Truck Flags

Showing 1–16 of 146 resultsSorted by popularity

Our toughest, strongest, most durable flags. Most of these truck flags are sewn double nylon embroidered flags, thick and strong for durability yet light enough to fly in a breeze, and they’re our top pick for showing your colors on a truck, at parades and for permanent outdoor displays.
⚠️ Please Read Before Flying a Flag on Your Truck
Flying a flag on the back of a truck is not the intended use for a flag. Driving faster than parade speed (about 10 mph) will shred even the toughest flags listed here. Fly with caution, as this will severely limit the life of your flag. Our recommendation: fly your truck flag for parades, rallies, tailgates and slow drives, then take it down before you hit the road.
What Makes a Good Truck Flag?
Wind is the number one enemy of any flag, and a moving vehicle creates far more wind than a flagpole at home. That’s why most flags in this collection are made from double nylon: two layers of heavyweight nylon, sewn and embroidered rather than printed. Double nylon flags hold up better to strong wind, resist fading and keep their colors bright longer than standard or printed flags. Even so, no fabric flag is designed for sustained highway speeds.
Choosing the Right Size
3 x 5 ft. is the most popular size for a truck bed pole mount and is easy to see from a distance.
2 x 3 ft. is a good choice for smaller trucks, side mounts and anyone who wants less wind stress on the flag and pole.
4 x 6 ft. and larger are best for parade floats and stationary displays, where the flag can fly at low speed or parked.

Tips to Make Your Truck Flag Last Longer
Take the flag down before driving at road speed, and keep it down on the highway.
Bring it in during storms and heavy rain.
Check the fly end (the edge farthest from the pole) regularly, and trim and re-hem any fraying before it spreads.
Let a wet flag dry fully before rolling or storing it.
Keep a spare on hand for big events so you always have a flag in good shape.
Popular Truck Flags
Show your pride with a heavy-duty American flag for your truck, a Texas or state flag, a Gadsden “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, a Come and Take It flag, military branch flags, POW MIA flags, historical flags and many more, most in tough double nylon embroidered construction.
Truck Flag FAQ
Can I drive on the highway with a flag on my truck?
We don’t recommend it. Flags are not designed for vehicle use, and driving faster than about 10 mph will shred even our toughest double nylon flags. For the longest flag life, fly your flag at parades, rallies and tailgates, and take it down for normal driving.
What is the most durable flag for a truck?
A sewn double nylon embroidered flag, like the ones in this collection, is our most durable construction. It will outlast standard and printed flags, but it will still wear quickly at road speed.
What size flag is best for a truck?
3 x 5 ft. is the most common size for truck bed mounts. A 2 x 3 ft. flag puts less strain on the flag and the pole.
