This flag is made with a two-ply fabric and is fully sewn (not printed). The Alabama Flag was adopted on February 16th, 1895. There are different stories as to the flag’s origin, but many believe that a group of Montgomery, Alabama women were responsible for the design. It was patterned after the cross of the Confederate Battle Flag.
