The Paraguay Flag was adopted on November 25th, 1842. The Paraguay Flag is the only national flag to have two different designs on it. The treasury seal is on the back while the smaller state seal is on the front along with the red, white, and blues stripes. The red stands for courage, the blue shows liberty, and the white represents peace and unity. The star symbolizes Mat 14th, 1811, which is the date of independence.
