The 5th Kentucky Stars and Bars Flag was used during the Civil War. It has a white stripe, two red stripe, and 11 white stars. The 5th Kentucky Infantry was organized in October 1861 at Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and mustered in under the command of Colonel John Stuart Williams. It was initially recruited in Hager Hill, Kentucky.
