Confederate flags fly high in Catawba County as monuments go down

Confederate monuments and memorials have been taken down across southern states in recent days. Citizens of Catawba County have been flying Confederate flags to show their support and honor of those who fought in the Civil war. In response, the NAACP believes the increase in Confederate flags has more to do with racial division in the south then honoring veterans.
