The arrival of a Betsy Ross flag (the original 13 star flag) at a football game between Forest Hills Central High and Ottawa Hills High was criticized by school leaders for the exclusion and hate the flag now represents. A formal apology was given to those in attendance by school leaders who saw the action as inappropriate.
