Two Civilians Save Cop’s Life.

Never let a lack of authority get in the way of doing what’s right.

Two men, Stanley Markis and Jack Carter, saved a policeman’s life as they found him struggling on the ground with a suspect. In the midst of the struggle, Stanley noticed the attacker had a loaded handgun on him. Fearing for not only his safety but for the officer’s as well, Mr. Markis kicked the gun away. As this occurred, John assisted the officer by tackling the suspect, allowing the criminal to be arrested. When faced with a decision to help defend someone under attack, even at personal risk or to flee and forget about it, these two brave men stood up for the safety of the community and helped put a bad man behind bars.
