It pays to be able to defend yourself and your community from danger.
Mayura Dissanyake, an unsuspecting gas station clerk was tending to the the store when he heard a commotion coming from the parking lot outside the station.
Upon leaving his post and investigating further, he found his fellow store clerk being beaten and robbed outside. Summoning his prior knowledge of the defensive arts, Mayura came to the aid of his colleague and managed to subdue the criminals. He single-handedly saved his fellow store clerk and helped make his community just a little bit safer of a place to live in.
[editors note: We did not know that convenience stores stocked cans of whoop-ass.]
