The Ohio House of Representatives and the Senate heard a resolution to ban flying the confederate flag on public property. The flag is being called a symbol of oppression and hatred rooted in the legacy of African-American hatred. The flag is compared to the Nazi flag and how many different atrocities were committed under it.
