There are people who support the confederate flag and they want it back in some locations. Their efforts will likely be met with success. A senator from Alabama wants to protect statues and memorials. The senator is a republican from Tuscaloosa. The bill that will protect that memorials and statues is called the Alabama Memorial Preservation Act. The senator has sponsored similar bills over the past two years. This bill will be applicable to monuments that are over 50
