Due to the recent violence in Charlottesville, VA, people are questioning whether or not the country should keep its Confederate memorials. One such memorial is in Fort Mill and was created in 1895 in honor of the black american slaves that stayed true to the Confederates during the Civil War. Many argue it’s a vital part of history and no matter the opinions, they want the memorial to remain.
