Confederate controversy: DC tourism group objects to Frederick museum logo

The National Museum of Civil War Medicine has spurred controversy by using a Confederate flag in their logo. Destination DC, a local visitor’s guide, asked them to submit an alternative logo. The museum has refused to do so and counters that the work of Confederate medical personnel is an important part of history.
