Random Passer-By Saves Drowning Toddler

Ahmed Laidi, an unsuspecting bystander, was walking by a lake in his community. Immediately, he spotted a toddler walking towards the surface of the lake, showing no signs of stopping. As expected, the poor child fell right in, mistaking the green grass with the thick green algae that coats the lake’s surface in the summer. Ahmed dived in, caring little for neither his Iphone 5 nor watch. This was a small price to pay as Ahmed successfully saved the toddler from drowning, returning her to her parents and watching triumphantly as the ambulance took her to the hospital to ensure she was ok.
