A store in Houston is facing criticism after selling items featuring the Confederate flag. While the owner has been selling the items for years, she has faced backlash recently in light of the recent presidential election. A representative from Black Lives Matter has called for a boycott of the store, saying that the store does not represent Houston’s diversity. The owner, however, says she only sells the flag because it is a part of history, not as a symbol of racism.
