Confederate monument ‘Silent Sam’ spray-painted again on Friday

Black lives matter protesters spray-paint the words “love is understanding why others hate” onto confederate memorial in North Carolina. The Silent Sam statue is often the target of similar vandalism, and cameras have been installed to attempt to catch vandalism in the act. The most recent investigation of the spray-painting is still ongoing.
