Confederate Monument, erected by Sons and Daughters of Confederate Soldiers in 1913. This monument commemorates the sacrificed confederate sons and fathers during the American Civil War. Located in Alabama, this monument sits in DeKalb County near sites such as Cherokee Indian removal and Fort Payne’s Fort. This beautiful monument has a lone confederate soldier sitting on top looking at the horizon.
