Civil War cannon in Bell County defaced by vandals

Vandals have been scratching graffiti into a 155-year-old cannon from the Civil War. Fort Lyon at the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park has displayed the cannon on a hillside where it likely would have stood during the Civil War, but due to the vandalism, park officials are moving it near the park headquarters and investing time and money into restoring the historical artifact.
