In 2015 the Confederate Flag was removed from the grounds of the South Carolina State House where it had been for 52 years. Proponents of the bill say the flag is a symbol of hate, while opponents point out that flag represented Confederates of all color fighting in the Civil War. Both sides are set to take legal action, if needed.
