Buy Ecology Flag, Enviromental Flag, Green Flag

First seen in 1970 when published in Look Magazine, this ecology flag contains the ecology symbol originated by Ron Cobb.  The symbol is a letter "E" and "O" meaning "Earth" and "Organism" respectively.

The general pattern is after the United States Flag with the canton and 13 green stripes.

The first recorded flying of an actual flag of this design was by Betsy Boze who as a 16 year old High School student in Shreveport, LA to commemorate the first Earth Day.  Due to controversy over flying this flag it took an act of the Louisiana Legislature and the Governor (Jack McKeithen) to allow this flag to fly over the High School.

All our flags are made from a special high tech silky fabric that is bright, attractive and durable. Flags that come in 3 X 5 ft (standard size) and 2 X 3 flags have metal grommets. Excellent for regular use indoors and outdoors (though not for heavy weather/high winds). Flag designs may vary slightly from graphics pictured.
